The Team

Beth started dancing at the age of 3 at Wootton Bassett School of Dance and discovered her love for performing straight away. Over the years she has received training from teachers and choreographers from all over the UK.

Beth then trained at Judith Hockaday College of Dance and Drama and also holds an Acrobatic Arts Module 1 qualification; Acro is Beth’s favourite style to teach. 

Beth moved to Wales and taught at several dance schools in the Cardiff and Swansea areas for over 6 years. 

Beth has taken part in many competitions over the years including The Dance World Cup and the All England Dance Finals in London as well as many festivals and ISTD competitions.

Beth has performed in QDOS pantomimes at the Wyvern Theatre Swindon from 2011-2015. This allowed her to work with choreographers such as Joanna Goodwin and Andrew Wright (who choreographed Singin’ in the Rain currently on the West End) and also perform with celebrities such as Nigel Havers and Keith Chegwin. Beth also appeared on ‘CBBC does Glee Club’ in 2011.

Amber has always had a huge love for performing, starting at the age of 2 years old. At 5 years old, she booked her first film Cherished (2005) starring Sarah Lancashire and Timothy Spall. In 2017, she qualified to teach both ISTD Modern and Tap earning her Diploma in Dance Instructions (DDI). In 2018, she moved away to London and trained in Professional Musical Theatre for three years at Bird College. Since graduating in 2021, Amber has performed on cruise ships as a lead vocalist, on Viking Cruises, as well as being appointed ‘Company Manager’.

Chloe trained at The Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama where she completed her Advanced 2 in Ballet, Tap and Modern. She was awarded the runner up at the ISTD Tap Bursary Awards in 2019. 
 
Chloe furthered her training at Laine Theatre Arts where she was awarded the Tap Award in both 2nd and 3rd year. In her third year, she played Rita O’Grady in Made in Dagenham.
 
Her professional credits include  dancer in Thursford Christmas Spectacular, a production dancer for Choreography by Gail on the Japanese Cruise ship Asuka II, Queen Carabosse in LP Creatives Sleeping Beauty and a crowd dancer in Better Man.
 
Chloe has gained her Module 1 teaching qualification for Acrobatic Arts and is currently working towards her DDEs. She  can’t wait to share her passion with the MAD family!

Emily trained at Judith Hockaday School of Dance & Drama and completed her ISTD Advanced 2 in Ballet, Modern, Tap & National. She was a finalist for the ISTD Janet Cram and also for the ISTD Ballet Awards.

Emily furthered her training at Bird College, earning her Level 6 Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. She was a featured soloist in her 2nd year Project and a dancer in Jack Evan’s Tap concept video. In 3rd year, she was a featured dancer in Cre8 and played Ms Hutchinson in Titanic the Musical.

Emily has gained her Module 1 Teaching Qualification from Acrobatic Arts and is currently training towards her DDE qualification.

Lisa trained at the Judith Hockaday School of Dance gaining her Associate qualification in Ballet, Modern, Tap & National. She took part in many festivals up and down the country and was also a dancer in many SALOS shows.  She started teaching at the age of 20 and continued training with Judith Hockaday alongside.  She went on to gain her Licentiate qualification in Tap & Modern.

Lisa taught dance at schools in Oxfordshire, Gloucester and Cheltenham.

Lisa has been organising the Wiltshire Festival of Dance in Swindon since 2007 and also helps with many other festivals.

David originally started in drama locally with Swindon Young Actors from the age of 4. His passion for drama, writing and teaching took him to study at Northampton university, where he graduated in 2018.

David has been involved in productions at the Bristol old vic, the Royal Derogate in Northampton and the Wyvern theatre, swindon.

David believes in the importance of drama in peoples lives from communication skills, self confidence and as an outlet to express yourself.

This has lead David into going full circle. David now teaches with MAD and Swindon Young actors.

Jackie Lawrence has a degree in Drama from Goldsmiths College, University of London and LAMDA’s P Cert Lam Diploma. She is an experienced LAMDA teacher and teaches students on a one to one basis and in groups.. She is passionate about helping children grow in confidence through drama and to have fun learning new skills. 

Jackie’s groups and individual students have won accolades for their work in devised theatre, monologues and duologues, poetry and prose recitals as well as mime and public speaking.

Jackie Lawrence is also an experienced broadcaster, presenter and writer.
